I was actually considering rewatching it because I was really hyped about it as everyone praised it, and I really loved Hereditary, and then I saw this and was massively disappointed. I just didn't understand what the hype was for. I also found it odd how no one pointed out that the boyfriend wasn't actually a piece of shit and if anything, it's the girl who ended up being a total asshole and she won. I am looking forward to Eri Aster's next movie though, and I might rewatch this, but I was seriously let down by this one. I wouldn't call this the worst movie of last year, nor would I necessarily call it bad, it was beautifully shot, the violence was well done, it had a creepy atmosphere. It is just way overhyped in my opinion.
